And the Giving Begins for 36 humans and 300 furry feet...

This past weekend, Dog Is Good for Good volunteers met with the Pet Partners team in Bellevue, Washington to present a check for the funds raised by our walker team during The World’s Largest Pet Walk, held in September of 2021.

Dog Is Good for Good signed on early as a sponsor for the event, with a $1,000.00 sponsorship grant. In addition, we had 36 human, and over 300 furry feet walk in the event and collectively raised over $2,800.00. Our top fundraiser Mindy Anderson organized a walk in her hometown and raised $875.00 on her own! All funds raised went to Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program which brings unconditional love, happiness, and healing to millions of seniors, patients, veterans, and children in need.

Dog is Good for Good was so excited and honored to partner and learn from Pet Partners throughout this event. Our mission of People Helping Dogs Help People, and Pet Partners being a leader in support of the benefits of the human animal bond are so aligned, it was a natural fit for us.

As a new “puppy” nonprofit, we were so impressed with the event management and support our team received throughout the World’s Largest Pet Walk. We plan to take what we learned and use it as we continue to build our organization and serve our community of "People Helping Dogs Help People," across the country!
